The 1891 UK census lists him as 3yrs living at ?26 Gaol Road, Stafford with parents Patrick & Julie plus siblings. On his Military History Sheet his service is for 3 years and 177 days at Home and is discharged for defective vision on the 5th July 1916. I suppose I’m curious has to who he worked for from 1916 up to the time he got married in 1929 when he married Elizabeth Mary Alcock.
